Neli Koleva is the Chief Officer of Public Partnerships and member of the Senior Leadership Team of Teach for Bulgaria. She is responsible for Placement, Public partner engagement and Communications.
She is also the Project Manager of the New Ways for New Talents in Teaching Project, a pilot, funded by the European Commission which sees a consortium of five organizations across the network, respective Ministries of Education and university partners to pilot alternative pathways for entry into the teaching profession.
Neli comes to PPS after more than four years in various roles in Training and Support. Prior to starting work at Teach for Bulgaria in 2011, Neli taught at Rice University in Houston, TX and Universite de Haute Bretagne in Rennes, France. She holds a BA in American literature from Middlebury College, VT, USA and a PhD in Comparative Literature from Rice University, Houston, TX, USA.
